“The NDIS has its issues but we are lucky we live in a time where we have this scheme available to us and our families to provide the support and services needed to live a full and happy life."

Vanessa has many years of supporting family members with a disability. 

She worked in aged care for a short time however primarily out of necessity in having to work from home while supporting her son she pursued a role in service delivery with a disability service provider; a role she found thoroughly rewarding. 

Vanessa is a Mental Health First Aider and a Youth Mental Health First Aider, and she holds a Cert III in Individual Support. She is co-founding director of Possum Support Services with Renee Duggan.
